You are 20 weeks old this week! And you are on a roll!
You've also been trying out your new walker, even though you are too little for it. I'm sorry, but it went on sale and it is just WAYYYY too cool. You can push yourself backwards in it on the kitchen floor. The steering wheel lights up and makes sounds and your dad has caught you honking the horn using your forehead.
We've been attempting the rice cereal still, but you are not a fan. You screw your face up like it tastes nasty and sometimes spit it back out. You enjoy sitting at the dinner table with us and reach your hands out at our food.Your Grandma Lorrie tried some baby food with you yesterday, I think it was bananas, and she said you made the same disgusted face. You know what to do with the spoon, you open your mouth and lean into it, but once you taste the cereal, you are like where is my bottle?!
You are still having teething issues, your gums are still bothering you, but you are sleeping through the night. You have grown out of your Swaddle so we had to bump up and put you in a Sleep Sack that has your arms out. I was so worried about leaving the Swaddle behind because I was worried you would start waking during the night from startling yourself. You haven't woken up once since we moved to the Sleep Sack, and honestly it is hilarious to come in at night and in the morning and see the different positions you put your arms in.
We just bought a case of Size 4 diapers this past weekend. You have been wearing 12 month onesies because they offer more room because the 6-9 month outfits are starting to cut it close. You are my little chub-chub! :)
This past weekend you spent the majority of it with your dad because I had to go to the Lake for the weekend for a bachelorette party. He said things went really well (and he got some help from his mom and grandma). The worst thing that happened was you getting poop in your hair, and AJ had to give you his first solo bath. I would have paid good money to see that!!!
You adore your dad, though. Your face lights up when he comes into the room and you watch his every move. You seem to think that Daddy = Playing and Mommy = Food & Sleeping, which is fine, but it also means your dad has trouble getting you to go to bed because you want to play!
I'm relieved that the weekend went well for you and your daddy. This weekend it is just me and you because your daddy is going to the Lake for a bachelor party. I'm thinking about taking us to your Grandpa McKinney's to visit.
Love,
Momma

That smile is to die for! I'm dreading the no-swaddle sleeping! Eva is starting to grow out of hers too. Hope it goes as smoothly as it did for yall.
