Mom Jeans

Dear Lil Boop,

The day finally came when I couldn't stand it any longer. I had to buy some new clothes. I've been battling with my bras for weeks now and have grown tired of standing in my closet for 10 minutes only to settle on the same yoga pant/ t-shirt combo. My jeans still fit, but they are very uncomfortable. My nice shirts feel too constricting around the chest and belly.

So today Mom and I went to Old Navy and the mall after eating a yummy lunch at Chili's. And I bought my first pair of mom jeans. Actually, I got 2 different styles and they are SO comfy! I also got a couple of shirts, nothing exciting but more loose than what I have without looking like a trash bag. I also got fitted for a new bra. Went up a cup size already....*sigh*.... I paid a little more than I wanted to for the 2 bras but I want to be comfortable, and I haven't been for weeks now, so it is worth the $ for me.

I was kind of pissy today and couldn't put my finger on why. Still can't figure it out. It came and went all day. I was in a funk after dinner, so AJ finally pulled me off the couch and we walked down to the lake in our neighborhood.
11 Weeks at the neighborhood Lake
How many weeks are you??!
It was rejuvinating to be by the water out in the fresh air. It gave me a burst of energy to go to the store and buy some groceries we desperately needed (including dog food....you don't want to run out of food with these chunky butts!).
Gravy and Biscuit
Pitiful.

  1. This blog is something that when you are done, I hope you print off and keep in a book, for Boop when he or she grows up and can appreciate it. What you are putting on paper is great and will give the baby(when older), insight into what you went through to bring him or her into this world. For all the awful things that happen in the world today, there is a shining beacon of hope, "Little Boop". Someday soon.
