Boop! I just read that you are the size of a lime and are going to DOUBLE in size by next week. I am so excited as I type this!

This has been an eventful Labor Day weekend. On Saturday, I woke up and
had to be in the water. I called my Dad and asked if him and my brother Matt would be up for going floating or swimming somewhere. Dad hates to plan anything last minute, so it was a long shot, but we decided to go to the Public Beach #1 at the Lake of the Ozark. I was so excited to be out on the water and in the sun.

Dad bought a couple floaties from the little store that was there and I was able to float around and watch the boats and jet skis pass by. The water was sparkling and the sun felt
so good on my acne-covered face (I swear, Boop, I have more zits than a high school math club, it's pretty ridiculous...yay hormones :P).

When we got back to Dad's that evening, we decided to throw an impromptu fish fry together. I made cornbread and deviled eggs and Dad fried fish and fries. My Aunt Diane came out, as well as Lorrie (AJ's mom), Melanie (AJ's sister), and Mike (Melanie's boyfriend). We had a good time. It was my first sober fish fry - so that was different! I crashed on the couch around 9 PM while everyone talked and went to look at the tractor that Dad, Matt, and AJ restored for Grandpa.
Sunday (yesterday) I was on call all day. Had to go in at 9:30 AM and did two cases and didn't leave until 3:30 PM, which isn't that bad, but at least the cases were back-to-back! While I was at the hospital AJ went into Fulton to help his dad and Nan-nan do a couple things. When I got out of work, AJ met me at Agave, the Mexican restaurant down the street. After that, we moseyed around Bass Pro so AJ could buy bullets. I just looked around at everything and wondered why people would spend so much money to look "outdoorsy". Hmmm...
Didn't get called in anymore, I wish I could have looked into the future and known that. Dad and Matt took the tractor up to the home where Grandpa is at so he could look at it for the first time. I would have liked to have been there to see that. Luckily, Aunt Diane was there and sent me a couple pictures and a video.

Today is LABOR DAY, and one of my friends is taking it literally....I think we are going to have a Baby Eva with us soon! My friend from high school/hairstylist Cindy is going up to the hospital today since she is having contractions. I am so excited for her! She was in the last couple months of her pregnancy in the hottest heat wave ever. I don't know how she did it! I told her to keep me updated! Wishing her and Nick and Baby Eva good luck as she comes into the world!
