14 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are 14 weeks old this week.

You are my little 18 pound chubster!

At 14 weeks you aren't wanting to cuddle so much anymore. You want to PLAY PLAY PLAY. You love your activity mat and jumping in your jumparoo. You watch TV and smile when we play songs for you. You love your mobile and taking walks. You are SO curious!

You examine your hands and kick your feet in your jumparoo. You are wanting to stand and sit up with our help.

Saturday we took you to get your 3 month pictures taken at JCPenney Portrait Studio. You took some great pictures, but they pissed me off because they made us wait almost a half hour from our appointment time, so by then you were getting fussy. I'm surprised you cracked ANY smiles for us!

Honestly, I think I take better pics at home with my iPhone!

This past week on June 6 was your daddy and I's 3 year anniversary.

June 6, 2009 - Marrying My Best Friend

It fell on a Wednesday so I was off and spending the day with you and AJ surprised me by coming home early and bearing gifts.

Roses, a card, and my favorite chicken strips (just 2 because I've been dieting!). :) He's such a sweetie. After your pictures your Grandma T came over and watched you so AJ and I could go to the mall and do some shopping and then we finally had our anniversary dinner at Lonestar.

Yesterday you and I are went to Danielle's baby shower for little miss Audrey! I found a cute outfit for you to wear at JCPenney for $4 so I was excited! (see below!) She enjoyed her gifts. Allie brought Miss Lilly as well and there were some other little ones there as well. It's was at 2 PM so I was worried you would be fussy since that was during your normal naptime, but you were great! You sat up and looked around at everyone and all the decorations. The girls commented on how chill and relaxed you were :)

Passed out after the Baby Shower

Momma got her first post-baby bathing suit and I think it looks pretty good. :) It's my first tankini and I thought finding a bathing suit was going to be a disaster, but it was the first one I tried on and it looked great, so I snatched it right up!

We filled up the baby pool and got in yesterday. You LOVED it. You splashed around and carried on. It was a little cool outside by that time, so we didn't stay in long, but I'm so surprised at how calm you were! My little water baby :)

I have 2 albums full of pictures now. I decorated my locker at work with pics of you. It helps get me through the day to see your pudgy little face!

I'm still working 3 12's a week, and I'm very exhausted when I come home, but I enjoy having 4 days off a week. It's hard to see everyone go home at 5 PM and I still have to try to hang around until 7 PM. I want to go back to 10's but I also know that means less time with you overall, and more time being watched by someone else. There is no happy medium!

Oh well...
