47 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are 47 weeks old this week. You are getting so close to being 11 months old!

This past week I tried out my food processor and pureed up some of our dinner so you could have a bite. You loved it! It was chicken breast, stuffing, carrots, and potatoes that had been in the crockpot all day. You ate dinner along with us. I need to do this more often!

I also pureed up some avocado in the food processor. You took a couple bites but weren't exactly a fan. And it kinda grossed me out because it looked like baby poop. So I don't blame you.

Saying you are into everything is an understatement. If I turn around for one second you are into something. You are so curious and it cracks me up! I have to put you in the bathroom with me while I get ready on my days off. You are into every drawer, unrolling the toilet paper, and throwing things into the tub.

I put you in the bathtub while your daddy and I got ready one day this past week. You were okay with it for a while, but got pissed off when you tried to climb up the sides and kept sliding down.

You crawl with purpose. You slap your palms on the ground so hard and can get across the floor in seconds. When I pick you up from whatever mission you were on you holler out and pump your legs to complain.

You are still holding on to things to stand and get around. I've seen you let go a few times and stand there for awhile until you fall on your butt. You'll get it.

I bought you an elephant that blows balls out of it's trunk at Target. I thought you would really love it. I was wrong. You don't give a crap about the balls popping out of the trunk. You just like the air blowing and bite the elephant on the trunk while the air blows, then when it stops you push the button to turn it back on so you can bite on the trunk again.

This past weekend you went to your Gramma T's. I had a slumber party for Kari's daughter to help with and AJ had Dustin over for his 26th birthday to work on the car. I missed you very much! I did get to try out ice-skating again (and I'm still not a fan!). But I had a lot of fun considering it was my first time being on this side of a slumber party!

I've got my 26th birthday coming up next Monday. Both your parents will be 26 and a month and a day later you will turn 1! Can you slow down a little?

Love,
Momma
