Dear Wyatt,
You are 25 Weeks Old this week!
The new thing this week is: your feet!
You never really were able to reach them before (I think because of your chunky belly), but I think you have gotten longer and have been grabbing onto your wiggly toes lately. When you are on your back or on your changing pad, you love to throw them up in the air and grab onto them while I change you. It's so cute. I've been obsessed with your feet since you were born, and it's neat to see you so curious about them! You love the "This little piggy went to the market..." game, you laugh and laugh!

This week your gums have been bothering you an awful lot. You've even been tugging on your ear quite a bit, which I heard was common with teething. I still can't believe you haven't popped a single tooth out though! It seems like you are going through all this work with nothing to show for it!
Also, you are getting so much better about sitting up on your own. You roll like it isn't a big deal. You are even getting too big for you swing, which is going to put me and your daddy in a world of hurt! You are starting to try to "buck" out of it, which startled me the first time I saw you with your legs hanging over the edge!
This past Thursday was your mommy's first trip to a Just Between Friends consignment sale. Your Great-Grandma Darlene watched you so I could run up there. I knew you would grow bored! It. Was. Awesome! Allie suggested it to me and it is basically a place where mommies can tag and sell their new and used baby items so other new mommies can come in and buy them for cheap. The sellers get more $ than if they were selling items from a garage sale, and I saw several of the things you have gotten for more than half-price!
I got you several 18-month old outfits since it was a Fall sale and they were selling long-sleeves and pants. I also got you a couple toys I thought you'd like (a steering wheel and a tool bench - both light up and play music and you grunt and smack them with your hands). I also got a NEW Evenflo strolled for only $30. I couldn't pass up on it! I will definitely be going back to the Spring Sale!
Over the weekend we went to lunch with your Grandma T and Great-Grandma Cheryl at the 63 Diner down the street. You were so well-behaved sitting in your carseat because there wasn't a lot of room to get you out. You were watching other customers and looking at the food and all the happenings going on about you. You decided to take that moment to take a big poop in your diaper! We all sat there and watched you grunt while your little face turned red. The you were done, but you left us with the smell (Momma T got the worst of it!). We changed you when we left since the diner didn't have the facilities to change you, plus we were only 2 minutes from the house!
A girl at work talked about putting her baby in the big tub and that she just loved it, so I decided to test it out with you since you are getting so big in our sink. I filled up the tub with some warm water and some Bedtime Baby Wash and you LOVED it. You were kicking your legs and laughing and smiling. I called you my Little Fish and Michael Phelps! Because you got such a kick out of it, I have given you a bath the past couple nights. You are so relaxed and drift off to sleep in my arms with your nighttime bottle. I am a sucker for a good smelling baby, too. ;)
Last night while your dad was syncing his iPhone, a few of the videos on his phone ended up my mine. He had a video of you in your crib watching your mobile. I don't know how old you were in it, but it almost made me cry to see you so little. I can't believe next Wednesday is your half birthday...where does the time go?!
Love,
Momma

I can't even bring myself to watch old videos for fear of crying uncontrollably. Even thinking about it brings tears! Gah! I can't believe we're about to have 6-monthers on our hands.
