41 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are 41 weeks old this week! You are such a rock star!

You are a little booger! You started crawling and ever since you've been on the MOVE! Now it's not only crawling, it's pulling up to stand and trying to climb up EVERYTHING. You like to get to a standing position and take one hand off and try to balance on your own. You are so proud of yourself and look around and holler out to let us know what you are doing. You have been falling down a lot too, but that goes with the new territory. Sometimes it makes you mad to fall, sometimes it makes you cry, and sometimes it doesn't seem to bother you one bit. Sometimes it gives mommy a slight heart attack but I try not to act like it.

Your favorite places to go are the places you aren't supposed to be (imagine that!), such as trying to get on the glass TV stand to touch the Blu-Ray player, or over near the plug-in trying to pull the nightlight off the wall, or into Biscuit's dog food or water bowl. My Aunt Julie gave us a baby gate to hopefully keep you out of certain areas. We will see if it helps! I'm not excited about the fence decor in our living room, but what can ya do?

You are more into your walker now, and you will roll all over the kitchen floor bumping into things and listening to your "radio" or honking your horn.

Such a ladies man!
As for foods, you are still loving your puffs and recently are really into the cookies for babies. You sit on the floor and just "mmmm mmmmm mmmm!" while you gnaw on a cookie. You make quite the mess, but it seems to help since you have 2 new teeth that have come in this past week, for a grand total of 8 teeth! You also tried pureed mac 'n' cheese for the first time this past week and I have never seen you eat so much baby food in one sitting - you loved it! (You get that from your parents!)

We heard Santa was visiting from the North Pole the other night, so we took you to go see him. You did awesome and weren't afraid of him at all. You looked right at the camera so that we could get the first picture of you two together. I can't believe your first Christmas is fast approaching. You have been such a good boy this year that I know Santa is going to bring you such nice things! You even received a letter from him in the mail this past week!

Isn't that awesome! You must be a really special boy to get one of these letters. I am so proud of you! We are going to save it for you. Who knows? Maybe Santa will send you a special letter every year?

Love,
Momma
