34 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are 34 weeks old tomorrow!

And while you still aren't crawling yet, you sure are mobile! You get around the floor to whatever it is you want. You are also pulling UP onto your knees now and "bouncing" there for a while like you are testing things out. It is the cutest thing. You usually let out a holler or a squeal while you are doing it too!

And with some assistance, you can stand up and play with your activity table. We keep a close eye and a close hand by, because you wobble and try to fall down on us.

You have 6 teeth now! Your central incisors on the top and bottom have all come in, and now you have added your lateral incisors on the top to the party just this past week. First your left one popped through, and then your right the next day. It was funny because I had no idea you were teething, because when your first 4 came in it was obvious! You were a mess, and your momma was too! These are still bothering you a bit, but nothing like those first 4.

You tried peaches this week, so that adds to the list of foods you have tried. You weren't really a fan. But you also weren't much of a sweet potato fan and I tried those again this past week and you seemed like you didn't mind.

What else is new this week? Oh yeah, you are kicking at the giraffe poster on your wall right next to your changing table! You have knocked it off a couple times already. It is pretty funny when you do it because you try to get your foot underneath it and then kick. You are ornery!

It's already turning freakishly cold here in Missouri, to the point where yesterday your dad and I thought it was time to bust out Momma T's chili recipe. However, during the week on one of my days off it was so pleasant outside I knew it may be the last nice day we see in months, so you and I strolled down to the lake and laid out a blanket and watched the geese (and one duck) float by. It was so peaceful and you enjoyed it.

This week is your first Halloween, so I will be taking a lot of pictures of you as a Jack O' Lantern! :) Momma is so embarrassing, huh? ;)

Love,
Momma
