32 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are turning 32 weeks tomorrow.

It is currently the perfect fall night. We have the window cracked open in our living room and my weather app says it is currently 59 degrees. I love having the window open and being able to smell the crisp fall air. There are not many times in Missouri you can just have the window open. It is always either too hot or too cold.

I have a pumpkin candle lit and the Cardinals are playing a postseason game against the Giants and we are currently winning. You just had a nice bubble bath and I wrestled you into a diaper and into pajamas. You drank down a bottle and are now sleeping contently on my lap. Life. Is. Good.

Since it is getting cool out you have had to wear a hat or a jacket outside. Pictured is your new Carhart jacket and hat we had picked up at Buy Buy Baby. I think you are absolutely adorable! Pretty soon I think it is going to be winter coat weather!

This past weekend we went into Fulton so you could visit your grandpa Steve and great grandma Terrell.

Your great-grandma (who is called "Nan-nan" by everybody) hasn't seen you in a while and was surprised at how big you have gotten. She absolutely adored you and rocked you on the swing outside - and she rocked you to sleep! Sometimes you are so funny, little boy.

The plan for today was to head for the Pumpkin Festival, but the weather was making a turn for the worse (imagine that) so we opted to go eat lunch and do some shopping. At the restaurant, you were flirting with all the waitresses. This one waitress had a little chunky boy as well and she couldn't help but keep coming over to visit with you. I think you made her day! I gave you a bite of my applesauce but you thought it was too sour.

When we got home from the store, you were absolutely worn out so you took a good nap. I laid you in our bed and even though I had plenty to do around the house, I went and took a nap with you. I told my grandma about it and she made me feel better by saying you are only going to be little for a little while, so enjoy it while I can.

So I will :)

Love,
Momma
