12 Weeks

Dear Wyatt,

You are 12 weeks old this week.

You are so incredibly social now it's ridiculous. You love sitting up with our help. You love being able to look around at everything. you love babbling off about your day to your swing's mobile or your giraffe poster. This morning you looked at your hand and fingers suspiciously. You are putting your first in your mouth. You are grabbing onto toys now and putting your hands to your mouth and sucking on your fingers when we aren't fast enough with the bottle.

You LOVE playing now, be it on your activity mat or in your new jumparoo. You also love playing with your daddy! He pulls you from lying down to sitting up and you think it is the best thing ever.

I put together a couple photo albums already (I know, but I take A LOT of pictures!) and am working towards getting my blog turned into a book for you to have one day.

Memorial Weekend was this past weekend and while we didn't spend the extra days off on the Lake on a boat, we spent a lot of quality time together as a family. On Saturday night, your Grandpa McKinney had  a fish fry. You were rather fussy because it was later in the day, but we had a good time showing you off.

Everyone is having fun playing with you. The other night I got a funny video of you petting and trying to talk to Biscuit, while he completely ignored you! (He still thinks he is the baby and sleeps in our bed at night - I'm glad we didn't fall into that habit with you!)

We also got a new carrier because I'm too ridiculous for the Moby (does anyone want one? You can have mine). AJ tried it out the other day. I told him I carried you for 9 months and it was now his turn. HA!'

I can't believe we will be going for 3 month pictures soon. And in a month back to the pediatrician for your 4 month checkup. We are having a blast, that's why.

We bought a baby pool this past weekend. I cannot wait to try it out! Hopefully pics to come soon.
