Dear Wyatt,
You are 7 weeks old today. You woke up this morning at 5 AM and I took you into the living room to give you your bottle and I started smiling at you and you gave me these HUGE smiles back! You are starting to smile socially back at me instead of smiling about the big farts you let out, which started around 2 weeks.
OMFG. Talk about forgetting about 5 AM. I was absolutely amazed that you cheezed at me so big! You've been laughing a little too - and it sounds like a dolphin! And they are so well-timed your daddy and I are sure you are appreciating our humor.
And already you are a lot less fussy than weeks 5-6, which I never thought we would get past. You hated everything unless there was a bottle in your mouth.
You are showing off your personality more and more. You are impatient (like your mommy) but you are also a kidder (like your daddy).
Daddy and I bought you a new swing this past weekend at the Target Baby Sale. You love to swing! We had one for you that friends gave to us but it would shut off too soon and you would start complaining, which is JUST what i needed when you were already being fussy!
You like looking at the mirror and watching the birdies move around on the mobile. It swings side-to-side and front-and-back. I haven't figured out which you prefer yet. It also plays music and nature sounds. So far you are a fan and today mommy actually got to finish putting on makeup (WHAAAT!?), put in a load of laundry, AND eat a bite to eat for lunch before you started complaining. I think we set a record!
